Building, painting and finishing scale aircraft models.
This would be one of my earliest Tamiya kits; built, I think, around 1995. I recently read a magazine article by a fellow modeller about his problems with using the right colour for the topsides & the more I looked at mine , the more [...]
1/72 Italeri, I modified the rotor head, replacing some parts to separate the two rotors, finished in MM enamels with I think Tamiya X22 and MM 30000 over kit decals.
Some pics of my Tamiya 1/48 Lanc tastefully shot against the lurid backdrop of our back-bedroom! - Sorry about that but the finished model is so large it had to go somewhere uncluttered and it was still raining outside.
I scratch-built the [...]
This is the Gavia 1/48 Westland Lysander. I hated it. Nothing fitted well, the wings to canopy fit was very hard and decals unusable. I used spares. Even photographing it was a nightmare. A random gust of wind blew it over. I lost a [...]

This is my Tamiya Phantom in the early USAF gull gray & white colour scheme used until around 1966 when the SEA camo scheme came into use.
I loved building this kit even though it was a few years ago now. Cockpit is Black Box and there [...]
Another What-If? - Luftwaffe1946: After much drawn out fighting, the Germans finally capitulate.
Leaving behind items such as this D0-335 much abused & repaired Arrow. Replaced wing & lower fin in case you hadn't noticed!
Have fun [...]
Another silly take on what could have happened...
This was an experiment in flaking paint as well as another captured trials aircraft.
Cheers!
Just some fun stuff with Hasegawa's old X-29 kit. No one can say this is the wrong colour eh?
'Ave a larf why don't you...?
Cheers guys!
A small number of pics of my Tamiya 1/32 F-14 Tomcat which I still believe to one of the best looking of all the Grumman 'Cats!
Please forgive the bombs but they were in the box - & I like bombs...
Rather heavy weathering on top but [...]
