Miniart 1/35th LGOC Type B Bus

Over the years ago have made the old Airfix B Type bus kit. Likely a bit of a rite of passage for many modellers I feel. When I saw Miniart bringing one out, thought why not indeed and got myself one. As always with Miniart somewhat over [...]

Hustler

Hustler 1/72 from italeri. This is an old kit from the brand but it is still good model. For the metallic rendering I've used Vallejo paint chrome and silver.

SCRATCH BUILT Part 2

This was a 1/32 scale "Revell" P-40E kit. I did something unusual by placing several hand made parts together then taking the photos. This was done because it cost money for film, film developing, postage. I had spent more than [...]

USS Colorado in drydock

I wanted achieve a highly weathered effect so I used large amounts of washes and weathering techniques. I wanted to make some parts look like they were covered with clothes so I made these clothes out of tin foil. The dock is scratchbuilt.

I bought the front section of this kit and made some revisions to it. I went "Gung-Ho" as we call it here in America and "hand crafted" several more parts. I had no plans, nor measurements so I just looked at a few [...]

Hello to everyone, I have rediscovered this beautiful hobby couple years ago, after more than 30 years of break (since childhood). I like aviation, especially 3 and 4 gen fighter jets. After brush painting my models with enamel colors, [...]

T17E2 Staghound

With the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Europe in mind, I started working on the RPM T17E2 Staghound in 1:72. The say this kit is over-engineered is rather an understatement, especially the multi-part turret is quite a handful. I [...]

1/25th Scale Monogram 1931 Ford Model A

I bought this car 'cause the real one's were produced by the Ford Motor Company during the year of my birth. This model kit had next to no flashing, but they had a couple of punch mark's on some of the parts. In fact if you pay attention [...]

Video: Tamiya 1:48 F4U-2 Corsair

For a kit that's over 20 years old, Tamiya still holds their own. This was a very fun kit to build and to paint up. I was really surprised by how easy Army Painter paints were to airbrush. I used Vallejo Airbrush Thinner at about a 60-40 [...]
