Hasegawa 1/48 A-4F Skyhawk “Lady Jessie”

From "The Hook": "Naval Aviation lost a devoted friend when Jessie Beck, 83, died in Reno, NV, in July 1987. As the first woman to own a major Nevada casino - the Riverside Hotel and Casino, she was called "the gambling [...]

"Duel in the Sun" or YGBSM, F-105F vs SA-2 Guideline. 1/72

YGBSM meaning... You gotta be sh**ing me! The reaction to the description of the Wild Weasel mission when it was explained to an Electronic warfare officer who had transferred from B-52s. Much has been written about the WW mission who went [...]

My first Model CarHonda RA272

This is the first car model that I ever build. During all my years of scale modelling (30+), I never thought on build a car. But like with anything else one day I got inspired by the amazing work of a fellow modeller. I loved what I saw [...]

Heinkel He 162 A-1 1/72 Revell (Ex-Lindberg) No. 4143 (1984 boxing)

I recently finished building a 1/72 Revell/Lindberg He-162. This should have been an easy build but I lost interest on it pretty early after I started the build. About 4 different builds got done before I got serious on this one again. [...]

Captured Hawk, P-36/ H75 in the Luftwaffe. Monogram 1/72.

This represents one of the dozen or so H 75's that were captured by Germans, which sold many to the Finns. I think that the Monogram kit is still the best representation of the P-36 in 1/72. Thanks go to Tom Bebout for supplying the kit.

1/32 Monogram ProModeler (Hasegawa) Messerschmitt Bf 109 G-4 Trop (Schwarze 1, Oblt. Franz Schiess)

This is my firs article on iModeler, so it's a great pleasure to share this few pics with all the distinguished members of this community! I can't remember exactly when I started this project, but it must have been in the early 2000s. It [...]

Hawker Typhoon Mk IB 1/48

I have no idea just how old this kit is; I know it was issued in the early 1970s at least. So, it won't have the features found on today's great models. But, perhaps we can see how much improvement manufacturers have made since then? [...]

Spanish Civil War...1/48 Messerschmitt Bf109A, 2.J/88 Legion Condor

Like the recently posted "6o30", also this model was built somewhere between 10 and 15 years ago. Hobbycraft kit, AFAIR my dad did some minor corrections to the nose or did some rescribing to get a more correct "A", [...]
