Monogram 1/48 TBD Devastator

Here's my Monogram TBD, still a terrific kit despite its age. I added lots of scratch-built details, seat belts and a few photo-etched pieces to dress up the cockpit, a vac-form canopy, and enclosed the wheel wells. The decals from the spares [...]

Tamiya 1: 35 Chi-Ha tank

This is the old Tamiya Chi-ha tank. Have build this kit a couple of years ago. My first tank till now. Sprayed with revell enamels. Weathered with Revell sand brown and Tamiya weathering pastels. Mud is made from artist pigments. Best regards; Ulrich

Hasegawa 1:32 Nakajima Ki-84 Hayate “Frank”

This kit I've build a couple of years ago, if I recall correctly 4 years ago. It's the Hasegawa kit. And what I can remember , the "bare metal" is sprayed with a spraycan Humbrol acrylic chrome which took ages to harden after is has dried, anti-[...]

The Classic Airframes I-153 came out in around 1996, the last of the kits done for them by Eduard, and one of the first Eduard kits to be done in mainstream injection-molded plastic with better molds. The kit was later released by Eduard themse[...]

Holy Batcrap Batman!!!!! It’s the Batmobile… Round 2’s 1966 Batmobile 1/25 scale

I kinda cheated with this one... My wife gave it to me for Christmas 2011. The reason I say I cheated is this is the Round 2 Snap Together kit with pre-painted body. The reason I wanted this one is because it comes with Batman and Robin figures.[...]

Hasegawa Macchi C.205 Veltro Luftwaffe 1/48 scale

Since I'm showing off my Luftwaffe stuff now, here is a cool one..This is the Hasegawa Macchi C.205 Veltro of JG77. This kit was built straight from the box. I was able to acquire the Mike Grant "Smoke Ring" decals to do this one. My airbrush i[...]

Pro-Modeler Fw190D-11 1/48 scale

This is the Pro-Modeler Fw190D-11 built straight from the box. I was planning on using a real cool Eagle Strike decal set on this one but its for a D-9 not the D-11 so I used the kit decals. I chickened out on the red bottom scheme so I went wit[...]

Hasegawa 1/48 Ju87B-2 Stuka

I have always liked the Stuka ever since I watched my dad build the Guillows balsa wood kit. So here is mine. This is Hasegawa's Ju87B-2 depicting S2+AM from 4/St.G.77 Eastern Front, 1941..I built this one pretty much straight from the box. I am[...]

OK here it is, the wait is over for Bill Koppos’s Favorite model….and the winner is…………..

Special Hobby's 1/32 scale Brewster Buffalo Mark I. Ta Da! (Cue Fireworks...) The maligned Brewster has always been a fascination of mine-why, I'm not sure. I like the looks, the barrel shape, different landing gear, cool glasshouse canopy. For[...]
