1/35 Italeri Hetzer

1/35 Italeri Hetzer. Finished it yesterday, FINALLY! Used Tamiya Panzer IV add on tools (which accounts for the crooked side skirt) and the rubber tracks from the Tamiya Hetzer kit.

1/48 Hasegawa P-38J

Did this one a long time ago. Decals from Aeromaster for an 80th fg bird. True Detail wheels, Xtracolor gloss paints for the OD/Neutral Grey, Testors square bottle gloss green. At the time I did this, I didn't have any real reference [...]

Built out of the box, with wood grain decals for the slats in the bed. Not perfect, but I'm happy with it. Brian Riedel

Italeri 48th OH-13 Sioux

Made mods to interior and added cyclic and collective pitch horns to swashplate. Made bigger diameter skid tubes. Tie down tape was made from dental floss, painted red. Added other details like pitot tube. Comments welcome. Bo

I made my way down to north London today, to the RAF Museum at Hendon, which in fact is four separate museums within several hangers. I went specifically to see the First World War in the Air display, which has a complete hanger of its [...]

1/700 scale USS Forth Worth LCS-3

This LCS-3 Freedom-class littoral combat ship of the United States Navy was the first built for me in its class. The model is from Dragon models which overall has a satisfying quality with little gap and filler issues. The molding and [...]
